Indigo Papa (South West London)
Indigo Papa is a fast growing video production and technology company based in South West London with a broad client base including The London Stock Exchange, Fortnum & Mason, MTV, Panasonic and a broad range of other clients including some of the top digital agencies in the UK.
We’re pushing forward with a number of new applications and digital services across mobile, tablet and traditional desktop media platforms and require a talented designer with a strong interest in this area.
Job Description
Who are you?
We’re looking for a designer who has a strong interest in application development and software engineering. We’re looking for someone who can quickly grasp an idea, take some clear direction and think in three dimensions. You’ll be able to flesh out an idea quickly whilst adding a little polish and gloss where necessary.
You will be technically proficient in Creative Suite (Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign) and enjoy technical challenges. You’ll be proud of your work and how it is executed. You’ll be organised and deliver documents which can be easily shared with other team members. (Label those layers intuitively!) Importantly though, you’ll be quick and not precious.
You probably have an iPad, an iPhone 4 and a MacBook. You probably like big f**k off monitors. If you don’t and you are good – we’ll provide.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be working on some very exciting and high profile projects directly with the Technical and Creative Directors, helping to shape the user experiences and the GUI’s of some very interesting applications.
You’ll be wearing multiple user hats and helping to architect user journeys and you’ll be injecting your creative ideas around how experiences should look and feel.
You’ll also support the sales team by knocking together screenshots and visuals for specific contexts and scenarios around how our services could be deployed. Here, it is essential that you can grasp how a client might be positioned and where real value is created in their eyes.
You’ll be working hard. The hours can be long but you’ll love what you do and there are plenty of opportunities to progress within the company.
Additional Information:
We have an energetic and very entrepreneurial company culture which is very much embodied in a “can-do” attitude from everyone in the team. We’re into innovation and encourage everyone to pursue individual learning and to work on developing cool new stuff.
How should you apply?
You should send a brief CV and covering email with relevant links to projects you have been involved with to jobs [at] indigopapa.com
Keep it snappy. Keep it to the point.
If you’re a recent graduate please do not stress. Although we’re looking for experienced designers we value fresh and passionate people with talent and flair.
